Artist's Comments

The Mushroom Kingdom is famous for its intricate sewer system. These sewer systems have become a haven for the piranha plant, a strange species that has evolved beyond the need for photosynthesis. Instead these plants prefer the damp dark environment of the sewers, where they survive off of a diet of feces, and the flesh of plumbers and mushroom people who have become lost in the labyrinth of sewer pipes.

Yeah, I was worried about drawing something too "Little Shop" looking, but I'm guessing "Little Shop" was where they got the idea for the Piranha Plant in the first place, so...
