Artist's Comments

Kamek the Magikoopa is a practitioner of the dark arts. Drawing his power from an ancient Elder Blooper that lies dreaming at the bottom of the ocean, Kamek is an expert necromancer and alchemist. He controls an army of the undead, including the ghostly Boos, and the skeletal Dry Bones. He currently serves Bowser, but he is treacherous in nature, and some day he hopes to overthrow the Koopa King.

(I have had this lying around for a while, but I didn't upload it, because it really didn't come out like I wanted to at all. I wanted him to be threatening, and I think he came out too cartoony and too Harry Potter-ish. But since Super Mario Galaxy is coming out tommorow, and since I haven't put anything up in a long time, I decided to upload it.)

Thanks. I've always been a big Tim Burton fan, so that's a big compliment!

Aw man, I'm like 62 stars into Galaxy (haven't beaten it yet though.) I am loving this game so much. I also started drawing a Dry Bones tonight while my roommate was watching TV, and I'm really happy with how it's coming out. It looks more terrifying than anything I've done yet.

I just unlocked the garden galaxy, so I want to get some stars from that before I tackle the end. Also, I haven't unlocked all the chapters in the library yet.

Ahahah, oh wow. I really like the style you did with this. I AM CREEP-ED OUT.
